At the entrance to the maze, you find yourself somewhere in Africa, some 8 million years ago. Your task is to find the path that will lead you to the present day. Get totally lost, have fun and do your best to emerge from the adventure as a “human”… unless you prefer to go “ape”.
Human evolution was long depicted as a straight line, representing an ape gradually adopting an increasingly upright position to stand, ultimately, on its hind legs. Now, however, we know that our evolutionary path more closely resembles a bush with many branches: species emerged, some coexisted, many disappeared.
