Prehistomuseum

The Museum has a free locker service for children’s bags. For greater freedom of movement, the children’s bags will be collected on arrival and stored together under lock and key. They will, of course, be returned to them during the lunch break and when you leave. 

For younger children, we even have spare clothes available in the event of little accidents! 

There is an infirmary in the main building to deal with minor bumps and bruises, and several members of our teams are trained in first aid. 

If you are visiting the Museum only, you can leave bags and coats in the lockers provided.

If you are heading out on an outdoor experience, just dress as you would for a walk, no more and no less. For your comfort, we recommend comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor activities. No need to kit yourself out for a trekking expedition in the Himalaya (unless you really want to, that is!). 

Some visit programmes involve making souvenirs that children can then take home with them. Remember to bring along a cardboard box to get them home safely. 

The Préhistomuseum shop offers a range of souvenirs associated with the adventures the children will have experienced. Feel free to browse the shop with your group if you so wish; souvenirs are available at prices starting from €1.

And why not treat yourself? The shop is full of educational books about Prehistory. 

Soup, sandwiches or a full lunch can be reserved for you or for the children at the Archéobistrot, and picnics are also welcome.

Good news: the Préhistomuseum has a drop-off point where your coach can drop your group at the entrance in perfect safety.
