In case of late booking, the signed quotation must be sent the same day, otherwise the reservation will be considered null and void.
For school visits, youth organizations (or similar associations), and children’s birthday groups, the group representative must ensure the presence of at least one adult accompanying the children throughout all activities and breaks.
Reservation process
Quotation
Following the request, the group representative receives a quotation by email.
Signature of the quotation
The reservation becomes definitive upon receipt of the signed and dated quotation by the booking service. If not received, the Préhistomuseum reserves the right to cancel any options (date, time, activities, meals, etc.). By signing, the representative validates all data (date, time, number of participants, services, meals, etc.).
Booking confirmation
A booking confirmation is sent shortly after receipt of the signed quotation. The data in this document will serve as the minimum basis for invoicing on the day of the visit.
Modification of booking
Any modification must be made at least 10 working days before the visit. After this deadline, the Préhistomuseum reserves the right to invoice the amounts stated in the booking confirmation.
Any change affecting cost or organization (participants, meals, timing) requires a new confirmation to be signed. Without this, the museum cannot guarantee the requested conditions.
Invoicing
The invoice is issued on the day of the visit based on the booking confirmation and may be adjusted according to actual attendance if higher than expected.
3.2 Cancellation conditions (group visits)
Any unsigned quotation is not considered a booking. Only the booking confirmation issued after receipt of the signed quotation constitutes a valid reservation.
Any cancellation must be made in writing at least 10 working days before the visit or meal date. After this deadline, cancellation fees covering staff costs and pre-ordered supplies will be charged.
Failure to attend on the scheduled day or failure to respect cancellation conditions will result in full payment of all services and/or meals stated in the booking confirmation.
3.3 Payment of group visits
General provisions
All bookings for visits or meals are invoiced to the group representative.
Payment is made on the day of the visit at the Préhistomuseum ticket office by bank card (credit cards accepted), cash, or bank transfer.
The visitor agrees to pay in a single payment for all services and/or meals, otherwise group benefits may be lost.
All invoices are payable in euros (€).
Deferred payment conditions
Any unpaid invoice at maturity (one calendar month) will incur penalties: €20 for the first reminder and €40 for the second.
From the third reminder, interest of 15% per year will apply until full payment.
