The Préhistomuseum offers tours designed to meet the requirements of the PECA and the new educational objectives of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation’s (FWB) Excellence Pact. Our interactive activities allow students to explore Prehistory, Heritage, and Culture through hands-on experiences, stimulating their curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

As part of the educational continuum, the Préhistomuseum interactively explores and expands upon concepts covered in history, science, geography, and environmental studies, and helps foster civic education… Interdisciplinary approaches are at the heart of every project.
Lifestyles, archaeology, evolution and settlement, the origins of art, the timeline, migrations, and more. The themes of the tours developed by the museum allow for engagement with both specific and cross-disciplinary areas of learning.

1.5-hour tour

School rate: €8 per student
Accompanying adults: 2 adults per group
Additional accompanying adults: €8 per person (same rate as students) EXCEPT for special education and preschool students = free

Important information:

Billing is based on a minimum of 15 paying participants (you may come with fewer, but billing remains based on a minimum of 15 students)

* Special education: minimum of 10 paying participants

Half-day tour (3 hours)

School rate: €12 per student
Accompanying adults: 2 adults per group free of charge
Additional accompanying adults: €12 per person (same rate as students) EXCEPT for special education and preschool students = free

Billing is based on a minimum of 15 paying participants (you may come with fewer, but billing remains based on a minimum of 15 students)

Full-day tour (6 hours)
