Picnic area

If you’d rather bring your own meal, there’s a covered picnic area available in the “tripis” or in our covered area.
If you’d like, you can also stop by our 30-hectare nature reserve with your picnic. 

What does the tour involve?

When you arrive on site, please go to the reception area in the main building. There, a member of the Préhistomuseum team will welcome you, introduce you to the various activities, and offer advice on how to make the most of your day.
It’s up to you to decide (depending on the weather, crowd levels, etc.) the order in which you’ll explore the museum.

• Bring a baby carrier instead of a stroller when visiting with young children
• Pack a picnic (outside of school holidays; picnic areas are available)
